SURFING IN VARKALA

The Kerala adventure will begin with a flight into Trivandrum, followed by a scenic drive to our first destination: the cliff-top paradise of Varkala. For two magical nights, you will call Soul & Surf your home, perched dramatically on the red laterite cliffs overlooking the Arabian Sea.

Varkala isn't your typical beach destination. The town's unique geography creates a stunning contrast between the rust-colored cliffs and the endless blue of the ocean. Mornings will start with sunrise yoga sessions, the sound of waves crashing below providing the perfect soundtrack for meditation. The clifftop restaurants will offer fresh seafood with panoramic ocean views, while the beach below invited long walks along the pristine shoreline.

BACKWATERSKUMARAKOM

After bidding farewell to the cliffs of Varkala, a comfortable 3-hour drive will take to Alleppey, the gateway to Kerala's famous backwaters. Our destination: the luxurious Coconut Lagoon in Kumarakom, where traditional Kerala architecture meets modern comfort.

For three enchanting nights, get immersed yourselves in the rhythm of backwater life. Coconut Lagoon, accessible only by boat, feels like stepping into a different world entirely. Traditional Kerala homes, reconstructed with meticulous attention to detail, dotted the property like islands connected by winding waterways.

KAYAKING

A short 1.5-hour drive from the backwaters will bring to Olam on the Lake in Panangad, our base for the next two nights. This intimate property offers a different perspective on Kerala's water-centric lifestyle, situated on the shores of a serene lake surrounded by lush greenery.

Panangad provides the perfect opportunity to slow down and truly connect with nature. Early morning walks around the lake reveals a symphony of bird calls, while evenings cab be spent watching local fishermen navigate the calm waters in their traditional boats. The property's organic garden supplies fresh ingredients for meals that celebrates Kerala's rich culinary heritage.

RAINFOREST STAY

The adventure will reach its crescendo with a 2-hour drive to Athirappilly, home to Kerala's most spectacular waterfall. Rainforest Athirapally will serve as a jungle retreat for two nights, immersing guests completely in the Western Ghats' pristine wilderness.

The Athirappilly Falls, often called the "Niagara of India," thundered with monsoon-fed power, creating a mist that could be felt from kilometers away. The rainforest around the accommodation pulsed with life – exotic birds called from the canopy, while butterflies in impossible colors will flutter through shafts of filtered sunlight. Guided nature walks will reveal the incredible biodiversity of this UNESCO World Heritage site. The nights will be a symphony of forest sounds, punctuated by the distant roar of the falls.
